Business Continuity
The business continuity plan is under constant review and provides for continuity of supply chain and customer support.
The plan is confidential but has been submitted to our insurers as part of the terms of our business insurances. It has been approved by our insurers.
The plan includes the following sections:
- Business Continuity Management Team
- Utilities and Services
- Product & Raw Material Specifications
- IT
- Server Hardware
- Server Software
- IT Services Analysis
- Telecoms
- Production Operation
- Warehousing Operation
- Office Operation
Within each section the following are defined: document control, scope, responsibilities, actions relating to severity of compromise. The plan has assured that, for critical processes, there is either the duplication and independence of resource or the identification and testing of an outsourced resource.
Safety Performance
Holchem strives to maintain a safe workplace for all. We continue to ensure that our business activities are undertaken in a responsible manner and in accordance with relevant statutory legislation. All employees participate in the development, promotion and maintenance of a safe and healthy working environment for employees, visitors and the public.
All accidents, major incidents and near misses are reported internally, and are fully investigated to determine appropriate corrective and preventive measures. Investigations are discussed with all those concerned, communicated internally on site and with the formal joint health and safety committee. All notifiable accidents are reported to official authorities, following the local legislative reporting requirements.
