Dish and Utensil Washing
Washing machines come in many shapes and sizes and are generally built for the cleaning of a specific size and type of item. Washing machines should only be used for the original purpose they were intended.
Detergents need to be matched to the item being cleaned, the water hardness and the typical soils (debris). Most dish wash and utensil wash detergents are highly alkaline detergents sequestered to cope with a range of water hardness. It is good practice to soften water used for supply to a washing machine; this enhances the performance of the detergent and reduces the likelihood of scale build up in the machine.
Detergents used in utensil washers are usually “aluminium safe” products designed for good soil removal without affecting aluminium ware.
Dishwashing may represent a large proportion of the overall cost of cleaning in a kitchen. Our Optimum range of dish, utensil and glass washing detergents and rinse aids and complimentary products are concentrated and provide cost effective cleaning with excellent performance.
