System Cleaners

Installed washdown systems The medium pressure technology can be utilised in a number of configurations to suit the cleaning requirement and budget.
A Centralised System provides central distribution from a plant room of washdown water, prediluted detergent usually for foam application and often a prediluted disinfectant for spray application.
A Decentralised System provides central distribution from a plant room of washdown water but utilises local pick up at satellite stations of detergent and disinfectant.
Mobile Units provide pumped water for washdown together with local pick up of detergent and disinfectant.

A Centralised System is one in which each outlet point receives cleaning agents from a central source, which gives ease of operation and extra reliability, as well as a uniform dosage of cleaning agents thanks to the central pre-mixing.
The system consists of a pump unit that increases the water pressure, a central mixing/pumping station for the cleaning agents, and a number of satellite stations, which will depend on the specific application.
Each satellite station receives pre-mixed cleaning agent from the mixing/pumping station, pressurised water from the pump station, and compressed air from the compressed air system.

The System Cleaners product range encompasses several different types of satellite station, some of which have a built-in injector system for decentralised dosage, to enable a particular area to be cleaned using products other than those supplied by the central system. The range also includes satellite stations with two inlets for different centrally supplied cleaning agents.
Storing the cleaning agents outside the production area prevents the operator coming into contact with concentrated chemicals, and reduces the risk of contaminating foodstuffs with cleaning agents.

Centralised systems are also more economical in operation, as cleaning agents supplied in containers are cheaper than the equivalent amount in drums. Placing the cleaning agents in a central location also minimises the manual handling of chemical containers and reduces the amount of packaging.

Decentralised systems are systems in which each user can individually select a cleaning or disinfection product that matches the specific cleaning requirement, ensuring maximum flexibility.
An installation typically consists of a pump or main station and a number of satellite stations. A main station is a pump station with an integrated satellite station. Satellite stations are placed at strategic locations where there is a need for cleaning.
The satellite stations are supplied with pressurised water from a pump or main station, and have an integrated suction and dosing system for one or more detergents or disinfectants.
Each cleaning outlet is supplied with pressurised water from a pump or main station and compressed air from the existing installation, but has its own supply of detergent and disinfectant.
Using a switch on the unit, all users can choose between the following cleaning functions:
rinsing
foam application
disinfection

System Cleaners' Decentralised systems can consist of a single unit, or of a number of cleaning units supplied from the same main or pump station, scaled to match the maximum number of users. By using limited systems in different production areas, you can limit the length of piping required - and thereby the total system costs.

System Cleaners Mobile stations are independent cleaning units, from which the following cleaning functions can be carried out: rinsing - foam application - disinfection.
A modern functional design and the use of stainless materials ensure a long operating life, easy servicing and simple operation. The cabinet has been designed to conform as far as possible with the EHEDG guidelines (European Hygienic Equipment Design Group). The individual functions are selected by means of an electric switch. The unit may be placed directly in food production areas.
The pressure boosting pump used is a stainless, water-lubricated centrifugal pump that does not require regular servicing. The noise from the unit is less than 70 dB(A).
The unit is equipped with an automatic start/stop function. When water usage ceases, a timer system ensures that the pump stops after 20 seconds. The main station has a built-in indicator lamp and is also equipped with a built-in safety system to prevent the pump starting automatically after a power failure.
Mobile units can be a good solution if the areas to be cleaned are very scattered, or do not need to be cleaned very often.
The unit is available in two basic models: one for use where compressed air is available (type H 11-2), and one with its own built-in compressor (type H 11-2C).
The following standard accessories are supplied with the System Cleaners main station: 750 mm rinsing pipe, rinsing nozzle, foam nozzle, disinfectant nozzle, nozzle holder (mounted on trolley), key, instructions for use in Danish, German or English, and declaration of compliance.

If the customer subsequently wishes to add further functions, options can be supplied in kit form.
The concentration that can be achieved, as described in the technical data, depends on the product and on temperature, viscosity, density and pressure. Consequently, it is not possible to achieve 10% concentration under all conditions.
