Highly trained and committed field teams support the 3 main divisions within Holchem; namely:
- Food Processing
- Brewery, Beverage & Dairy
- Catering, Hospitality & Retail
The management and technical support teams at Holchem have a hygiene, processing or technical background relevant to the sector they support. This has allowed Holchem to focus directly on ‘customers needs’ and add ‘real value’ to the Hygiene Management Process. The teams supporting customers have many layers and are multi disciplined.
The prime responsibility for managing an account is that of the Technical Sales Consultant. They provide the main point of contact for all support and service and are responsible for all work carried out at the account. They carry out routine planned visits, against a structured support plan, and report on the content in a visit report. They also provide the first line of contact for requested customer support, such as investigations. The structured visit plan is agreed with the account contacts and forms part of the overall hygiene management system.
Hygiene Auditors working in the Catering, Hospitality and Retail sector make routine planned visits to accounts/sites to provide:
- Electronic audit of hygiene facilities and hygiene standards
- Coaching against agreed methodology and procedures
- Initial and refresher training
In addition they operate an emergency response service for problem solving and equipment maintenance.
Hygiene Technologists provide a resource for assisting the account with the creation and on-going management of the scheduling system. The system is tried and tested and complies with all known third party standards and best practice. It is available as a paperwork system or electronically and provides the account with a schedule of cleaning, detailed methodology of the clean for each piece of equipment (or surface) and a control system to ensure that cleaning is recorded and monitored.
The qualified Service Engineers provide an additional expertise in dosing and application of cleaning products. In addition to routine planned visits where service contracts have been put in place they also provide an advisory and investigative service to our customers. The correct dosing and application methods and equipment are critical to a successful hygiene management system. We use proven and robust technologies to ensure trouble free operation over a long period of time.
The Management Teams supporting the consultants, auditors, technologists and engineers provide an additional resource and wealth of experience to our customers. They also work within the framework of the structured business plan to ensure that all aspects of our service meet or exceed customer requirements.
Where specific expertise or knowledge is required a team from the Technical Managers, Regional Managers and Engineering Project Managers provide an invaluable and exceptional resource and are focussed to meet the objectives agreed between customer and ourselves. This may be, for instance, an investigation into environmental micro results, the optimisation of a CIP clean or an evaluation of the current cleaning procedures costed through the “Cost of Clean Model”.
