Stuart Middleton

Managing Director

As managing director, Stuart is accountable for the strategy and the overall direction and control of the company’s operations. Responsible for ensuring that the company achieves its objectives in a socially responsible, innovative and ethical way, Stuart crafts the finance strategy in line with the corporate strategy for the business.

Accountable for the financial sustainability of the business and driving the Kersia culture of a responsible and ethical business, Stuart ensures that corporate governance codes and company law is followed.

Iain Robertson

Operations Director

Iain is responsible for all Operation Departments at Kersia UK comprising: manufacturing, warehousing and distribution with remits of delivering a quality product to the customer in full and on time. The Operations Department is also responsible for purchasing administration and plant maintenance.

Iain joined the business in the summer of 2007 from a background of senior management positions in Production, Operations and General Management; in a number of diverse industries with reputations for innovation and providing customer excellence. 

Kathleen Chisholm

Human Resources Director

As Human Resources Director, Kathleen is responsible for the HR Operations, Training & Development and Payroll departments. She has overall responsibility for the UK’s People Strategy ensuring it supports the development of Kersia as a whole. She joined the business in 2021 from a background in both the Manufacturing and Construction sectors.

Richard Fine

Sales Director Food & Beverage

Richard is responsible for the Sales team, ensuring we support and service our customers to the highest level. This includes our Customer Care team, who manage customer orders to deliver on time and in full. Richard’s primary objective is to ensure that as a business we are continually supporting our customers, finding the right solutions to solve their problems and adding value at every level within a customers’ hygiene needs.  Richard joined the business back in August 2021, having spent much of his career within FMCG, working with most of the UK Grocery & Convenience retailers.

Darren Saunders

Technical Services Director

Darren has overall responsibility for all of the customer facing support departments of Kersia UK, which includes Engineering, Technical Service Managers, Hygiene Technologists and various office-based functions.

Darren drives forward the Kersia technical strategy and customer support offerings, including our bespoke Gateway electronic hygiene management system, auditing, training, and innovative engineering solutions.

Darren joined the business in 1998 after spending 10 years working in hygiene management in a food processing environment. He has enjoyed several promotions within the organisation during his employment, including being appointed as Technical Services Director in October 2020.
