A Tasty Start to Spring for Holchem

The Food Service and Hospitality team from Holchem kicked off March by attending IFEX 2016 at the Titanic Exhibition Centre in Belfast.  Seen as Ireland’s premier showcase of the latest food & drinks products, catering equipment, technologies and services to the food, retail and hospitality industries - the event saw 5300 key buyers from Northern Ireland and beyond at this ‘must attend’ industry event.

With many of Ireland’s top food producers and food service suppliers displaying and presenting their products; Holchem attended to support Henderson Food Service.  A ‘tasty’ highlight was found on the Henderson Food Service stand where they launched their new rump burger.    Holchem were delighted to see their key partners’ stand proving a massive hit with visitors to the show.  All-in-all the entire 2-day event proved a great excuse to not only sample the ‘edible products’ but to network and catch up with other Holchem Group customers.

Not satisfied with one hospitality show in March – the team then relocated to Manchester for NRB16 (Northern Restaurant and Bar).  As joint sponsors of the event – Holchem were privileged to supply hygiene cleaning products which were used within the live kitchen/bar areas where many of the UK’s top chefs (including Simon Rogan, Aiden Bryne and Pip Lacey) were hosting masterclasses and demonstrations.

The team also took advantage of their stand presence to take the ‘product out to the people’ including distribution of the  2016 Food Service & Hospitality brochure supported by the launch of the brand new ‘fast acting’ disinfectant Optimum QFD60.    This ready to use blend of non-ionic and QAC free biocides provides a fast acting surface disinfection that meets the requirements of both EN1276 and EN13697. Optimum QFD 60 kills at least 99.9% of microorganisms in 30 seconds and at least 99.99% of microorganisms in 60 seconds.

Although March has now come to a close – the Food Service & Hospitality exhibition season keeps rolling forward.  Holchem’s sights are now set on the Bev Expo show in June – where they will be exhibiting and demonstrating their hygiene offering from Brewery to point of sale.
