Holchem have achieved a Certificate of Assurance under the Cyber Essentials scheme. The scheme is certified by Bureau Veritas Certification Holding SAS and accredited by APMG International. Cyber Essentials is a Government-backed, industry-supported scheme to help organisations protect themselves against common online threats.
The scope of the certification achieved covers the IT infrastructure currently used within Holchem Laboratories Ltd including, but not limited to, servers, workstations, mobile devices, firewall hardware, anti-virus and software applications.
The scheme checks compliance to ensure the we protect and secure the connection to the internet using boundary firewalls and internet gateways, implement secure configuration for devices and software, manage access control to prevent unauthorised access to systems, minimise the risk of virus and malware through virus scanning and anti-malware software and ensure strong passwords are used.
