Health and Safety awareness

Here at Holchem Health & Safety is such an important part of our company culture and the whole company strives to implement best practice every day.  As such throughout March a number of Holchem team members attended the IOSH Managing Safely training course delivered by Veritas Safety Services.

The objective of the training throughout all the sessions was to further enhance Holchem’s Health & Safety awareness and practice controls and to help enhance Health & Safety culture within the workplace.  The team members who attended were Anthony Turnbull, Mark Hindle, Keith Berry, Zahied Aslam, Carley Nightingale, Nicola Thompson, Dean Shevley, Karen Fearon, Craig Woodall and Andrew McStay.  Two assignments were completed by each of the delegates and assessed externally by Veritas.  We are delighted to say that everyone passed the course which is great news for them and for everyone who works at Holchem as they bring back their knowledge to provide continuous improvement to the Health & Safety culture here at Holchem.

Commentating on the course and the results, John Holah Holchem’s Technical Director, said: Congratulations to everyone who passed the course.  We will ensure that the new found knowledge will be put to use on a daily basis within Holchem to help improve even further our Health and Safety culture.
