Holchem Joins CHSA Accreditation Scheme

Following a rigorous auditing process Holchem is delighted to announce that it has joined the Cleaning and Hygiene Suppliers Association (CHSA) for Cleaning Chemicals.

The CHSA’s Manufacturing Accreditation cleaning chemicals scheme give buyers the certainty what’s on the box is what’s in the box.  Buyers simply need to look for the Accreditation Scheme logos: Our Standards, Your Guarantee.  Gaining admittance to one of the CHSA’s Accreditation Schemes is challenging. Applicants must pass the initial audit, conducted by the CHSA’s Independent Inspector of their product range and existing quality assurance processes. They are then audited frequently throughout the first year to ensure they maintain the standard that was required of them to gain membership of one of the Schemes.

Commenting on the membership and accreditation Nicole Thompson, Senior chemist at Holchem, said: It’s important that all our customers are reassured that we maintain the highest standards at every step of the manufacturing process and that we comply with industry code of practices.  Our products confirm to the stipulations outlined in the CHSA scheme and we are delighted to sign the Code of Practice and become a member.

At the heart of the CHSA is its determination to maintain standards and ethical practices, said Mike Stubbs, Chairman of the CHSA’s Accreditation Schemes. This philosophy is embedded in our Code of Practice, signed by every CHSA member. We are delighted to welcome Holchem into the Accreditation Scheme. The audit confirmed they meet the requirements of the relevant Accreditation Scheme and comply with our Code of Practice. Their customers can be certain they get what they pay for and product that conforms to the specifications stipulated in the Scheme.
