Holchem launches 2019 training courses

Holchem has launched its 2019 accredited hygiene training course schedule on its online shop.

 

The range of courses includes:

  • L3 Cleaning Technology & Control – A one-day course that covers the main principles of open plant and utensil cleaning and disinfection and the required controls and documentation. The course comprises presentations and group workshop activities and is suitable for Hygiene Supervisors and Hygiene Chargehands either directly involved in the supervision of a hygiene operation in the food processing sector, or as training for Hygiene Operatives about to progress to a supervisory position.
  • L3 Cleaning In Place - The four-hour training course includes seven learning modules: Overview of cleaning; Typical CIP sequence; Cleaning factors; Chemical Selection; CIP sets; CIP design & common issues and CIP records.  This course can be used as an introduction to CIP for new employees or as refresher training for the more experienced. 
  • L4 Cleaning In Place - Is designed to enable a technically qualified person with good understanding of open plant cleaning principles and chemistry to be competent in understanding and assessing cleaning in place circuits and CIP sets. The two-day course is split between presentations and workshop sessions.
  • L4 Food Processing Hygiene Management - The course is taken over two study blocks making a total training contact time of five days. The course comprises presentations and group workshop activities. This course has been specifically devised for those involved in managing or assessing hygiene operations / activities in the food or beverage processing sector, technical managers and those who wish to demonstrate that they have a competent person in charge of their hygiene. It is recommended that delegates are qualified in CIEH Level 4 Food Safety or equivalent.
  • L4 Listeria Management - is designed to enable a technically qualified person with a basic understanding of microbiology to be competent in understanding the basic components of a Listeria control plan and in the critical assessment of their own manufacturing facility. This course gives detailed and practical training for Technical, Engineering, Production and Hygiene personnel directly involved in the management of Listeria in the food industry. It is recommended that delegates are qualified in CIEH Level 4 Food Safety or equivalent.
  • L4 Allergen Management  - This course will be run over two days and includes a blend of presentations and delegate-led workshops on specific aspects of allergen management and control.  The course gives detailed and practical training for Hygiene Managers and Technical Personnel directly involved in the management of allergens in the food industry.  It is recommended that delegates are qualified in CIEH Level 4 Food Safety or equivalent.
  • L4 Validation  - The four-hour training course includes six learning modules; including reasons for validation; hygienic design; sampling techniques; the cleaning validation process; how to produce a cleaning validation report and monitoring and verification of cleaning to ensure the validated state is maintained. The course gives detailed and practical training for Technical Teams and Hygiene Managers and Supervisors who are directly involved with the validation and verification of open plant and cleaning in place regimes within food and drinks manufacturing environments.
  • L4 Hygiene for Maintenance Engineers - This one-day training course includes five key learning modules  - Food hazards applicable to the manufacturing infrastructure; Hazards arising from my role as a maintenance engineer; Hygienic design, personal hygiene and practices to control hazards; Maintenance programmes and Cleaning & disinfection. This course contains detailed and practical training for Maintenance Engineers who are directly involved in the maintenance of fabrication, machinery and equipment in a food processing environment.
