Holchem has launched a new way to access its award winning training courses with its Virtual Training Programme. The new form of delivering the renowned training courses is a response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the government restrictions on social distancing and the restrictions on unnecessary travel balanced with the need of Holchem’s customers to offer continual professional development to their teams.
The courses focus on accredited Level 3 Cleaning Technology & Control and Level 2 courses (Allergen Awareness, Listeria Awareness, Hygiene Awareness for Cleaning Operatives and Hygiene Awareness for Engineers) which have a shorter duration thus allowing for a more pleasant and effective learner experience. An interactivity functionality has been introduced within the sessions to maximise engagement of the learner and to enhance the teaching / learning process.
The courses are aimed at all levels of the food hygiene teams from operative to supervisor to manager and two of the courses Level 3 Cleaning Technology and Control and Level 4 Allergen Management are accredited by Highfield Awarding Body for Compliance.
There is still the option for face to face site-based training at a customer’s premises however this is on an ad-hoc basis. All requests are considered on an individual basis and have to go through the relevant risk assessment procedures.
