Our teams work with colleagues across the hygiene solutions industry to help develop best practice and guidelines that benefit all. We are delighted that David Childs, one of Technical Service Managers at Holchem, has been working with European Hygienic Engineering and Design Group (EHEDG) on the development of its Guideline document on Cleaning and Disinfection Principles.
David’s experience as a micro-biologist and hygiene manager across the food and drink processing industries have equipped him with the knowledge and expertise to look at customer’s hygiene issues and improve their cleaning regimes to remove micro-biological problems from the facility.
Alongside the EHEDG team he has been working to examine the guideline document and enhance the featured processes and update them accordingly. The result is that it gives the reader additional knowledge on a broader range of products they can use, new treatments that can be implemented and also how to improve processes such as reducing energy consumption.
David’s work is a great example of the breadth of knowledge and expertise that is nurtured here at Holchem, and that ensures we remain a market-leading supplier of hygiene solutions across the UK & Ireland.
