Holchem team member achieves Masters Degree

Samantha Clemson-Berry, Product Compliance and Regulatory Manager here at Holchem, has achieved a Masters Degree in Environmental Toxicology and Pollution Monitoring.

Samantha has been busy studying for the degree part time through Ulster University over the past three years as well as working full time and being a mum.  It’s a real credit to Sam’s dedication and hard work that she juggled all her roles, and gained such an acclaimed qualification.  She had already completed an apprenticeship in chemistry up to HNC level and then decided to push herself even further to gain the Masters.

Commenting on the achievement, Dr Jim Taylour, Products and Reasearch & Development Manager of Holchem said: A huge congratulations goes to Sam from all the team here at Holchem.  Gaining a Masters degree when you are studying full time is hard enough but Sam achieved it studying part time, whilst working here at Holchem and being a mum.  She’s taken multi-tasking to a whole new level.

Sam added: I decide to do the course for my professional development and at times it was challenging.  I’m so pleased to have seen it through as it has given me confidence to approach the unknown, and I can bring the skills and knowledge learnt to my role at Holchem.
