New hygiene and housekeeping eLearning course

Holchem is proud to work with leading hygiene training course providers to ensure food and drink manufacturers are fully up to speed with the latest regulations and the subsequent requirements.  Our Technical Director John Holah has collaborated with industry training providers, BRC Global Standards and e-learning provider totrain, to launch a new e-Learning course that helps companies comply with a fundamental clause in BRC Global Food Safety Standard Issue 7.

Hygiene and Housekeeping Courses

The course entitled ‘Hygiene and Housekeeping’ ensures that companies in the food industry understand the requirements of 4.11 Housekeeping and Hygiene and how to comply with them.  It covers the key areas of:

  • Reasons for cleaning
  • Chemical safety
  • Stages of a hygiene clean
  • Developing written procedures
  • Monitoring cleaning programmes

Commenting on the course content John Holah, said: This partnership is another example of Holchem sharing its knowledge bank and expertise in hygiene technology solutions. High standards of hygiene play a pivotal role within food industry and it is key that companies understand and comply with the requirements.
