Half Term Cleaning Plans

As the autumn half term school holidays are around the corner hospitality businesses across the country are gearing up for increased footfall.  It’s important that hygiene standards are adhered to and comprehensive cleaning regimes are implemented to ensure every customer receives the 5-star treatment. This should run alongside a thorough training refresh for all staff that includes updates on hygiene plans and how to use products properly so they are 100% effective.

Front and back of house including kitchens, toilets, floors, kitchen equipment, tables and chairs as well as warewashing all need to be included in rigorous hygiene plans.  Effective touch point cleaning is also important with door handles, rails and counters being hygienically cleaned on a regular basis.

Staff should be fully trained in the cleaning and hygiene systems that are in place and, if new staff are being employed, they should also be comprehensively trained in all the various cleaning tasks that have to be carried out and the right products to be used.

Positive online reviews can help boost a business in terms of returning and new guests and good standards of hygiene can contribute to them.
