A huge congratulations to the Holchem team as they scooped the Society of Food Hygiene and Technology’s ‘Training Company of The Year’ at the annual awards ceremony. Members of the team were on hand to accept the award from Matt Allwright from BBC’s Rogue Trader television series at the Society’s 40th year celebrations.
Holchem started to deliver high quality, relevant training courses back in 1983 and the offering has since gone from strength to strength. The philosophy behind the training courses on offer is to provide content that is not currently available and to avoid duplication of courses already available in the food processing and beverage sectors. The portfolio benefits primarily the role of hygiene and technical teams directly involved in the management of hygiene and food safety on their sites. The training is delivered by experienced members of the team who have passed the relevant module in PTLLs (Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector) and Advanced Training the Trainer. It’s part of Holchem’s 360-degree approach to its cleaning and hygiene solutions that includes training and review alongside the supply of best practice advice, hygiene products, dosing and application equipment and hygiene management.
Commenting on the win Nikki Bellamy, Training Manager at Holchem, said:
Our courses are developed on a strict ‘Learning Outcomes’ approach by experienced members of the Holchem team in conjunction with totrain. There’s a mix of face to face and interactive eLearning to ensure there’s a depth and breadth available to all. We are so proud of the work we’ve done to ensure the courses are always improving with more courses available every year and we constantly assess the content to ensure it’s up to date and relevant.
