Kersia’s Ian Baurley Raises Funds For The Christie Hospital

Kersia UK’s Ian Baurley has been raising money for the Christie Hospital in Manchester by shaving off all his hair.

Ian’s sister was recently diagnosed with cancer in the windpipe, the treatment of which resulted in hair loss. Ian decided that he didn’t want her to go through it alone so decided to shave off his hair as well and raise money for The Christie Hospital at the same time. He set up a Just Giving page for supporting donations and so far he’s already beaten his original target of raising £500. The page is still open for anyone who wants support Ian and his sister with a donation.

Nicola Bellamy from Kersia UK said:

We are so proud of Ian for supporting his sister during this difficult time.  Shaving off your hair is a big commitment and Ian has received so much support from his colleagues, family and friends for his fundraising effort. The Christie Hospital charitable fund is such a worthwhile cause and helps so many people from across the North West and the UK.

Ian added:

I cannot thank everyone enough for their support for this cause, it really means a lot to me and my sister.
