World Food Safety Day 7th June

World Food Safety Day  “Safer Food, Better Health’ takes place on 7th June and here at Kersia UK we have developed a variety of resource materials for our customers to use on site for their upcoming Food Safety Day events and awareness training.

The information includes hand hygiene, listeria and allergen awareness posters which can be used on site for demonstration exercises and in training sessions. There’s also a hand hygiene hand out and quiz as well as a word search.  All the materials are designed to raise awareness of the day and help our customers communicate key messages about the importance of producing safe food at every stage in the food chain.

Robust hand hygiene routines, as well controlling listeria and allergens are key fundamentals across the food and drink sector and our teams of experts work with our customers to ensure they meet the required level of hygiene across all three areas.

World Food Safety Day aims to draw attention and inspire action to help prevent, detect, and manage foodborne risks, contributing to food security, human health, economic prosperity, agriculture, market access, tourism, and sustainable development. It provides an opportunity for the sector to revisit hygiene routines, and to ensure all their teams are fully trained.
