Holchem’s Dr John Holah carried out two presentations at this year’s International Association for Food Protection Annual Conference in Tampa Florida.  The session provides attendees with information on current and emerging food safety issues, the latest science, and innovative solutions to new and recurring problems.  It is now considered to be the leading food safety conference in the world and is attended by more than 3,400 of the top industry, academic and governmental food safety professionals from six continents.

This year’s conference took place 9-12th July and John’s first presentation  ‘Hygienic design of food factories’ was to the International Association for Food Protection, Sanitary Equipment and Facility Design, Professional Development Group.   The second presentation was at a Vikan/Remco organised Technical Food Safety Seminar Programme.  The title of the presentation being ‘Principles of hygienic design’.

Commenting on the event John said: “It was an honour for me to be able to present at the conference and to share the ground breaking work undertaken by the European Hygienic Design Group and ourselves here at Holchem.  It was a busy couple of days and I certainly took away a lot of new and ground breaking information on providing  the most effective hygiene solutions for our customers’.
