Holchem’s Mike McHardy is a judge at this year’s ScotHot. Taking place on 13th and 14th March at SEC Glasgow, the culinary competition showcases some of the finest talent right across country. It’s a fantastic opportunity for chefs of all ages to display their skills in both live theatre and culinary arts.
For the third time Holchem will be supporting and judging the ‘Food Safety Challenge’ of the culinary competitions. Mike and his team will be there for the two days and are looking forward to experiencing first-hand the work of the talented chefs taking part and ensuring their knowledge of food safety is up to scratch.
Commenting on the event Mike said: Scothot is one of the most eagerly anticipated competitions on the Scottish Culinary calendar and the standard of the entrants from throughout the UK is really high. Food safety is of paramount importance and our role this year is judging the specific food safety challenges. It’s great to see the introduction of new competitions which represent emerging trends in the industry. We are looking forward to it and wish all the entrants the best of luck.
