John Holah, Holchem’s Technical Director, will be taking part in a Romer Labs webinar ‘Identify, Control and Eliminate – New Developments In Allergen Management and Cleaning’ alongside Kirsten Grinter from the Allergen Bureau. It takes place on Thursday 28 May 2020 and will be broadcast in three sessions (pick the session time to suit you):
The webinar will answer questions: How to you identify allergens in your food production facility? How do you control and eliminate? How can the Vital® Program help? John and Kirsten will also discuss the statement ‘With Allergen avoidance the only treatment available to allergic individuals, food producers are responsible for setting up appropriate allergen management and cleaning programs in their production facilities. Complex regulations and labelling laws only complicate the picture’.
John is a world-renowned expert on allergen controls and works with Holchem’s customers on the management of allergens within the food processing, dairy processing, soft drinks manufacturing, brewing and food service sectors. This includes allergen management as part of a complete hygiene solution, from the supply of cleaning chemicals and tools to the provision of post-hygiene analytical test kits, including undertaking hygiene training courses for hygiene operatives, supervisors and managers.
He has also had a number of papers published in key texts and has presented papers at various international conference.
