Dr John Holah attended this year’s International Association of Food Protection conference in St Louis, Missouri which took place 31st July-3rd August. Over 3,000 food safety professionals, government officials and academics from around the world attended the event.
The annual meeting is one of the world’s leading food safety conferences and includes presentations on current and emerging food trends and the latest science and innovative solutions to specific issues. John met up with some of the world’s leading authorities on food safety and will be taking key learnings and applying them to the work carried out at Holchem.
Commenting on the event, John said: This year’s IAFP conference was one of the best yet and I certainly took on board lots of new findings in the area of food safety and how it’s applied to day to day management of hygiene and cleaning solutions in the food industry. There is so much exciting work taking place around the world, including here at Holchem. I’ll certainly be using the knowledge gained and applying it to the work we carry out for our clients.
