WHO SHOULD ATTEND THE COURSE
This course gives detailed and practical training for Hygiene Managers and Technical Personnel directly involved in the management of Cleaning in Place systems. It is recommended that delegates are qualified in CIEH Level 4 Food Safety or equivalent.

COURSE
The course is designed to enable a technically qualified person with good understanding of open plant cleaning principles and chemistry to be competent in understanding and assessing cleaning in place circuits and CIP sets. The 2-day course is split between presentations and workshop sessions.

ASSESSMENT
Assessment is through submission of a portfolio of evidence consisting of a series of workbooks and assignments; the latter being employment based. The workbook is submitted for marking and moderation and, if successful, the candidate is awarded with a Level 4 certificate in CIP by Highfield Awarding Body for Compliance. This course is broadly comparable to the level of study required for Level 4 NVQ/SVQ.
